Abu Dhabi has introduced a 20% refund on annual industrial property leases for eating places and for tourism and leisure amenities, state information company WAM reported on Monday.
Eligible companies should apply on-line for the refund, which is calculated towards fastened rental prices, WAM reported, citing the emirate’s division of financial growth.
The report didn’t say who would bear the price of the refund or whether or not the federal government would compensate landlords.
The refund scheme is aimed toward easing strain on companies affected by authorities measures to include the unfold of the brand new coronavirus, WAM mentioned.
The United Arab Emirates final month started easing restrictions on companies, permitting buying centres and eating places to reopen below restricted capability.
Inns are excluded from the refund scheme.
