Dow Jones share worth: Dow Jones opens flat on simmering US-China tensions

US shares opened flat on Friday as traders pitted hopes of extra stimulus to revive an ailing financial system towards deteriorating US-China relations over Beijing’s transfer to impose a national-security legislation in Hong Kong.

The Dow Jones Industrial Common fell 12.14 factors, or 0.05 per cent, on the open to 24,461.98.

The S&P 500 opened decrease by 0.46 factors, or 0.02 per cent, at 2,948.05, whereas the Nasdaq Composite dropped 6.33 factors, or 0.07 per cent, to 9,278.55 on the opening bell.
