The method of Central authorities and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has by no means been supportive of any “cronyism” in any means, stated Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Wednesday.
In an interview with ANI, Ms Sitharaman stated that no complaints have been obtained towards the centre over any instructions issued to banks the previous 5 years.
“This authorities and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s method has by no means been supportive of any cronyism in any means. Within the final 5 years, you have got seen clearly. Nobody had any grievance about us calling and instructing banks,” she stated.
“So, I feel that’s not a problem. If something that the banks are hesitant is to increase loans, which can go dangerous for which the best way now we have devised the schemes that we’d positively assure any loss that occurs,” she stated.
Talking additional, the minister stated: “We do not promote corruption or cronyism. Banks should take real choices.”
